Spain: UK Nationals Still Subject to Entry Rules Despite Domestic Measures Being Dropped
Spain: UK Nationals Still Subject to Entry Rules Despite Domestic Measures Being Dropped
Indeed though Spain has
formerly relaxed some of its domestic restrictions, trippers from the United
Kingdom are still needed to meet COVID-19 entry rules. The Spanish Ministry of
Health explains that all UK trippers over the age of 12 are presently permitted
entry to Spain only if they hold a valid vaccination or recovery instrument.
This means that those who haven't been
vaccinated or recovered from the contagion cannot enter Spain for trip purposes
indeed if they hold a negative COVID-19 test result taken lately.
UK trippers who have been vaccinated/
recovered from the contagion should make sure to meet the validity period that
Spain has in order for their pass to be honored.
The Spanish authorities explain that the
country presently accepts only vaccination instruments that prove that the
holder has completed primary vaccination in the last 270 days or has entered a
fresh vaccine cure.
On the other hand, recovery
instruments are accepted only if the document proves that the holder recovered
from the contagion in the last 180 days.
Piecemeal from having to hold one of the passes
mentioned over, UK travelers are also needed to complete the Health Control
Form before entering Spain.
Trippers from the UK who hold one of the two
passes and who have completed the Health Control Form are permitted entry to
Spain for all kinds of purposes without being needed to follow any fresh entry
rules.
Spain continues to keep in place entry rules
for trippers from the UK as well as for those from other countries despite
deciding to drop some of its domestic COVID-19 restrictions.
Spain has just lately dropped
the demand to wear a face mask. Trippers, as well as citizens of Spain, are no
longer needed to wear a face mask when penetrating the maturity of public
places.
“It's no longer obligatory to wear a face mask
outside or outdoors in Spain. There are certain exceptions where it's still
necessary to wear them, similar as in health centers services and
establishments (for illustration, in health centers, hospitals, or
apothecaries) and in socio-aseptic installations (workers and callers in
collaborative areas),” the statement of the Spanish authorities reads.
Still, it has been noted that the demand to
wear a face mask still remains obligatory for those using penetrating
motorcars, trains, or any other type of public passenger transport. In
addition, mask-wearing remains obligatory for all those using airplanes too.
